Critics quick to blame Glenn Youngkin for icy I-95 crisis -- despite not being in office yet

Youngkin takes office from incumbent Democrat Ralph Northam on Jan. 15

Virginia's Republican Gov.-elect Glenn Youngkin doesn't take office until Jan. 15 – yet some critics Tuesday tried to blame him, instead of the commonwealth's outgoing Democratic incumbent, for a 179-mile-long traffic mess on Interstate 95.

Hundreds of travelers – including U.S. Sen. Tim Kaine, D-Va. -- were stranded in their vehicles overnight Monday into Tuesday in frigid conditions along the northern third of the highway in Virginia.

However, one of the stranded motorists – New Jersey parent Joseph Catalano -- told Fox News he reached out to the actual sitting governor, Democrat Ralph Northam, while he and his family were trying to travel home from Disney World in Florida.

They call me ... Sarcasmo
A group called "Reagan Battalion" started tweeting yesterday to get supplies to people that were stuck and they were roundly blasted by a libtard for helping where their beloved big gummint failed.

Some people snicker at the fact that I have put together some of these, over the years, for our vehicles...ranging in capacity from 3 days/2 people (like the one in pics) to what's in the big 4x4 rig that can support 2 people almost indefinitely.

I have disaster supplies set aside, but never made a bugout bag. Not a bad idea for the winter.

It's really a "survive and get home in a few days" bag to be carried a vehicle all the time. I never considered a true bugout bag feasible for here...where we gonna go if the balloon goes up??

Thanx for posting the checklist in the picture. I gleaned the web address from it, and used info from there to make my own checklist. Easier than trying to remember everything from scratch.

I had most everything already, stopped and got a few more items, still have a few to go, but here it is. Something that's been on my mind for a while, so thanx for the reminder. I can just throw this in the truck and forget it.

Something you might want to add is one of those plastic bottles the hospital gives you to pee in.
Unless you like people watching you
I can pee behind a tree or car door or something. But I was considering getting one of those seat-lids for a 5 or 10 gallon bucket for 'other' business. WallyWorld has them and plastic pail liners. If I get a pail tall enough, the knapsack will fit right into it to keep it clean.
