This was 1 of my retirement planning fears. Because equity or some other made up bullshit for people that lack fiscal responsibility.
Instead of holding people up that did the right things and made good choices, those people will possibly be stripped of their honest gains. Then it will be used on people that made horrible life choices and can't get their crap together, no matter how much the government intervenes.

I know there are a few threads on here about people's retirement accounts. How do all of you feel about the government possibly relieving you of a few hundred thousand bucks of your investments because it's not fair that you planned and saved for your future.
