I think garbage bags and bins should be displayed as a badge of honor - used defiantly to Republican detractors.

TECHNICALLY - THAT is how both symbols of the parties came about - the donkey (the jackass) and the elephant. As insults.

I'd like to be a fly on the wall watching whoever kept vandalizing the Trump/Vance sign out by the back gate of the CRE when the news broke that Trump is our 47th President.

Interestingly, he's not the first to be elected to non-consecutive terms. Grover Cleveland was the 22nd and 24th POTUS.

You know, maybe it is my unique perspective -
But I CANNOT recall in all my years, seeing right-wing persons vandalizing signs, tearing them down and doing stuff like that.
I don't have any recollection of someone mentioning supporting the Democrat in an Presidential election - and being shouted at, publicly insulted - and assaulted. This HAS happened - to ME. I've seen it ONE way - but never ever the other.

It must happen - somewhere. But I have never read about or seen it.

...that's the plan at our house... That vinyl should last a year or two, per my wife.

See, it’s not that, for me. I don’t hate these guys. If I believed that Democrats were like, demons or evil aliens, then maybe. But it’s like cheating at solitaire. Why cheat? You gain nothing if you win. Well except power I guess.

And like Gutfeld says - politics isn’t my religion and it’s not my life. It’s a thing. I can do something else.

And I don’t know if I can explain this well but - if I think something should be done, I suggest it. Or I DO it. Or I get volunteers. What I don’t do, is compel people. Make it a law or regulation. Lincoln once wrote that as much as he despised slavery, outlawing it wouldn’t make people stop wanting to have them anyway. You outlaw it when the people want it gone. Think - prohibition. Alcohol is destructive - but making it against the law didn’t diminish people’s wish to have it.

But this is how the Left thinks - AND they think everyone does. If people shouldn’t drive gas powered cars - end them! If they shouldn’t eat meat - force them. Admittedly they’re getting more clever - they’re leaning more on endless propaganda - but they mean business. You will comply even if you don’t realize it.
