Hi everyone,

We moved to Waldorf a few months ago, and need to find a dentist. My dental plan (GEHA) covers the following local dentists. I was wondering if anyone's had experience with them, good or bad? Any help would be appreciated!:

Maloney, Joseph A & Pham, Tuan D, Waldorf
Fitchett, Glander & Hood, James P, Waldorf
Vass, Larry I, Waldorf
Elshafei, Maysa A, Waldorf
Simon, Marvin V, Waldorf
Jones Jr, David C, Waldorf
Garg, Sonny K, Waldorf
Belcher, Althea L, La Plata
Hewitt, Godfrey T, La Plata
John, Orville W, La Plata

I did not see his name but I go to Dr. Dimitri in the Safeway shopping center. I had horrible TMJ problems and actually went to one Dr. on your list and not until I went to Dr. Dimitri was it ever taken care of. He is great and understanding and the ladies in the office are so nice and sweet.
He is up across from where the old movie theatre used to be.

Post Office Lake Dental

Fitchett, Glander & Hood, James P, Waldorf

These providers are part of a dental office called "Post Office Lake Dental". I have tried them and they are good dentists with a super busy office. It takes an extremely long time to get an appointment. When you finally get an appointment it will take you sometimes an hour or two just to get serviced by them. They always overbook patients and are always running late. It is also hard to get an emergency appointment too.

I hope you were able to find a good dentist. I would advise anyone interested in going to Post Office Lake dental to go elsewhere.

This has to be the most poorly run dentist office I have ever seen. Me and my boyfriend started going there because they accepted both of our insurances. Like you said, it takes forever to get an appointment and you will be waiting for two hours before you are actually seen. Me and him joke that its nap time becuase they play "smooth jazz" in there and like 9 times out of ten, you will doze off. Everyone does at some point.

However if you get an appointment you are going to de damn lucky to actually be seen. On our last cleaning in May they told my boyfriend he needed a deep scaling so they wouldnt do the normal cleaning. They made him an appointment in july. They doctor had an ememergency and wasnt there. They resceduled it for october, once again the doctor wasnt in. Neither time did they bother to call us, we found out after we had left work early to be there. This last time after they cancelled they said they wouldnt have another appointmentfor him until February becuase it needed an hour slot, not a 1/2 hour for normal cleanings. Luckily in May, when we first went, I went ahead and made our appointments for six months out. So when they cancelled on him again in October, instead of waiting until february, I gave up my cleaning time so he could have the hour and they could finally take care of him. We have went on and made our next appointments for a different dentists next time, but since he had to get in, this time we didnt have much choice.

Point of the story: DO NOT GO TO POST OFFICE LAKE DENTAL! Nothing but a hassel

Where's the beef?
I cracked a filling in my tooth and was in severe pain. So I went to the dentist by the mall, the new one by the movie theater, Newbaum or Neibaum or something.....it was horrible.

I told them I had an emergency. They accepted my insurance so there was no problem with that. They took me in, took exams and x-rays and whatnot. ( which were quite painful ) and then gave me some anti biotics and kicked me the hell out. They told me to come back tomm. I couldn't believe it. DO NOT GO THERE. The place is right across from the Target in Waldorf. Jesus, I was pissed..... :buttkick:

When I lived in Waldorf I used to see Ronald Hollander. I didn't see him listed as a provider your insurance accepts, but you could always check. There were many insurances he didn't accept.
