I don't know. I would guess your primary? I would try opthalmologist before dermatologist.

Is it a stye?

I have found that ophthalmologist only know what is concerning your sight or inside your eye. I would say a dermatologist

In general anything involving the eye should be treated by an eye doctor. If it is only been there a short time it may be a stye as the other poster indicated. If so, just use warm compresses and it should resolve. Good luck!

no its not a stye, its been there for @ 6 months only now its getting bigger and it rubs my eye and hurts

I would make an appt with an eye doctor as it would seem that they would have the right instruments to examine and treat the eye better than a dermatologist would. Upon exam if it does turn out to be a dermatology issue I am sure that doc would refer you appropriately. Dr Sauerburger and Morrison in waldorf are very good doctors. Good luck!

Try a Maxillofacial specialist. They deal with all the areas of the head, face, jaws, etc and can do the special surgeries (i.e. Mohs) if needed.

Ophthalmologist for sure. If it is something that has increased in size and is causing irritation to the surface of the eye then it might need to be treated with a surgical procedure so its best to see the eye surgeon.

Sounds like what my husband gets on his eye. It's a clogged poor. You need to see an ophthalmologist and they may have to lance it depending on how bad it is.
