PGPD Detectives Arrest and Charge Suspect in Domestic-Related Homicide in Riverdale

Prince George’s County Police Homicide Unit detectives identified and arrested the suspect wanted for Wednesday morning’s domestic-related fatal shooting in Riverdale. The suspect is 61-year-old Kenneth Aaron Tillery of the 8800 block of Helmsley Drive in Clinton. He is charged in connection with the fatal shooting of 52-year-old Tina Evette Harvey of Riverdale. The suspect and the victim were in a prior relationship.

On December 9, 2020, at approximately 6:30 am, officers responded to the 6300 block of 67th Court for a shooting. Officers located the victim inside of a car suffering from gunshot wounds. She was pronounced dead a short time later at a hospital.

Tillery is charged with first and second degree murder and additional charges. A court commissioner ordered him held without bond at the Department of Corrections. Tillery has confessed to the fatal shooting.
