PGPD Detectives Arrest Suspect for Fatal Shooting in Temple Hills

The Homicide Unit arrested and charged a man for a recent fatal shooting in Temple Hills. The suspect is 30-year-old Emanuel Honemond of the 3300 block of Curtis Drive in Temple Hills. He’s charged with the fatal shooting of 28-year-old Darrell Marshall of Washington, D.C.



On June 18, 2021, at approximately 7:15 pm, officers responded to the 3300 block of Curtis Drive for the report of a shooting. Once on scene, officers located the victim in a parking lot suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene.



The preliminary investigation revealed the suspect shot the victim over an on-going dispute. The suspect and victim were known to each other.




Honemond is charged with first and second degree murder and related charges. He is in the custody of the Department of Corrections on a no-bond status.
