Charles Co. Detectives Charge Suspect in Connection with Homicide on Warehouse Landing Road

On February 19, detectives arrested Darryl Edward Freeman, 17, of Waldorf, in connection with the homicide of Bradley Alan Brown, 17, who was shot and killed on February 18 in the 3100 block of Warehouse Landing Road in Bryans Road, MD. While detectives continue to follow up on information, they have established the shooting was not random and appears to be drug-related. Freeman was charged as an adult with first-degree murder and other related charges. Anyone with additional information is asked to call Det. R. Johnson at (301) 609-6453. i saw that too, but it looked like the US flag next to it was a half staff also. Kinda doubt if it was for one of these two upstanding citizens.

oh I misread (again).....glad they paid tribute to the victim.

bet someone feels stupid putting the flag at half staff. kinda like Newark nj when whitney died from a drug overdose.

Our honored 'county employee' was dealing THC vape cartridges and carried his dad's gun when he met with the guy who eventually shot him.

Yup. He will still face several weapons charges, but depending on the facts as they come out, the shooting itself may be justifiable. One of them tried to rip off or rob the other, we'll see which one it was.
