On December 14, two juveniles went to a location in Bryans Road, MD, to meet with another juvenile to purchase vape cartridges containing THC. The victims arrived at the location but were met by three additional people who robbed the victims at gunpoint. One of the victims was pistol-whipped in the head and assaulted. The suspects fled and the injured victim was transported to a hospital to be treated for injuries. Detectives assigned to the Criminal Investigations Division investigated and, with the assistance of the Neighborhood Enforcement Team and school resource officers, identified the suspects. On December 16, three search warrants were served and three of the four suspects were arrested. During the search, two firearms were recovered, one of which was reported stolen. Evidence linking the suspects to the robbery was recovered as well. The fourth suspect was arrested at school. Three of the juveniles, ages 16, were charged as adults and the fourth suspect, age 15, was charged as a juvenile in accordance with MD law. Det. Logsdon is investigating.
