Detectives with our Homicide Unit are conducting an investigation into the fatal shooting of 21-year-old Davon Darnell Taylor of Bowie. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.
On September 8th, at approximately 6:55 am, patrol officers were called to the 4500 block of Rena Road for a welfare check. Theofficers discovered Taylor outside suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
Detectives are working to identify a suspect(s) and a motive.
