PGPD Detectives Investigate Fatal Shooting in Temple Hills

Detectives with our Homicide Unit are investigating the fatal shooting of a juvenile male that occurred Friday evening. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case. Tipsters will never have to give their name.


On February 18, 2022 at approximately 7:25 pm, patrol officers were called to the 4200 block of 28thAvenue for a report of a shooting. Once on the scene, they discovered a juvenile male unresponsive in the roadway with a gunshot wound to the body. The juvenile was taken to the hospital where he succumbed to his wounds on February 22, 2022.

Detectives are looking to identify a suspect(s) and a motive.
