PGPD Detectives Investigate Fatal Shooting in Temple Hills

Detectives with our Homicide Unit are investigating a fatal shooting in Temple Hills. The victim is 55-year-old Nesredin Esleiman of Silver Spring. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.

On August 10, 2022, at approximately 6:20 am, patrol officers were called to the 5400 block of Chesterfield Drive for a welfare check. Once on scene, officers located the victim inside of a vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound(s). He was pronounced dead on the scene.

The preliminary investigation revealed Esleiman was operating as a rideshare driver at the time of the murder.

Detectives are working to identify a suspect(s) and a motive.
