PGPD Detectives Investigate Fatal Stabbing

The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating a fatal stabbing that occurred Saturday night in the unincorporated section of Laurel. The victim is 33-year-old Michelle Dudley of Laurel.

On January 14, 2023, at approximately 9:30 pm, patrol officers were called to the 9500 block of Muirkirk Road for a welfare check. Once on scene, they discovered the victim outside suffering from multiple stab wounds. She was pronounced dead on the scene.

Detectives have identified all parties involved and are working in conjunction with the State’s Attorney’s regarding the investigation.
