Homicide Unit detectives are working to identify the suspect(s) responsible for a homicide in Lanham on Tuesday. The victim is 29-year-old Thomas Baldwin of Farrell Lane in Fredericksburg, VA. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.
On January 8th, at approximately 7:15 am, patrol officers were called to the 5700 block of Lundy Drive for a welfare check. Baldwin was located in the backyard of a home suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
Detectives are actively working to find the person who shot Baldwin and to identify a motive for the murder.
