Detectives with the Homicide Unit are working to arrest the suspect who shot and killed a man Wednesday night in Oxon Hill. The victim is 33-year-old Levi Harrison James of Oxon Hill. Preliminarily, detectives do not believe this was a random shooting.
On December 2, 2020, at approximately 9:10 pm, patrol officers responded to the 4900 block of Winthrop Street for a shooting. The victim was located inside of his home suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Hewas pronounced dead on the scene.
Detectives are working to establish a motive in the case.
