PGPD Detectives Investigate Homicide in Town of Bladensburg

The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit is working to arrest the suspect(s) who killed a man Tuesday evening in the town of Bladensburg. The victim’s identity will be released once it’s confirmed and his family is notified.


On June 13, 2023, at approximately 11:05 pm, Bladensburg Police officers were on patrol when they observed a suspicious vehicle. When officers approached the car in the 4200 block of Bladensburg Road, they located the victim inside suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

Detectives are working to identify a motive.

The Prince George’s County Homicide Unit investigates all homicides in the town of Bladensburg.
