PGPD Detectives Investigate Homicide in Town of Brentwood

The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit is working to identify and arrest the suspect(s) who killed a man Wednesday morning in the town of Brentwood. The victim is 58-year-old Victor Guardado of Colmar Manor.

On September 6, 2023, at approximately 9:30 am, officers with the Brentwood Police Department and PGPD officers responded to the 4000 block of 38th Street in Brentwood for the report of a shooting. Once on scene, they located the victim outside suffering from gunshot wound(s). He was pronounced dead on the scene. The PGPD’s Homicide Unit was notified and assumed the investigation.

Detectives are working to identify a suspect(s) and a motive.

The Prince George’s County Police Department investigates all homicides in the town of Brentwood.
