Homicide Unit detectives are working to identify and arrest the suspect(s) who fatally shot a man Wednesday evening in Landover. The victim is 28-year-old Julian Kirkland of District Heights.
On August 25, 2021, at approximately 8:10 pm, officers responded to the 2600 block of Kent Village Drive for a shooting. The victim was located outside suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead a short time later.
Detectives are working to determine a motive and identify a suspect(s).
