PGPD Detectives Investigating Fatal Shooting in Temple Hills

The Homicide Unit is working to identify and arrest the suspect(s) in a fatal shooting Sunday evening in Temple Hills. The victim is 16-year-old Micah Briscoe of Temple Hills. An additional victim was also shot in this incident.

On August 1, 2021, at approximately 7:50 pm, patrol officers responded to the 6600 block of Northham Road for a reported shooting. When officers arrived on the scene, they located the victim outside suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead on the scene. The surviving victim was transported to area hospital for treatment.



Detectives are working to determine a motive and identify the suspect(s) in this case.
