The Homicide Unit is working to identify and arrest the suspect(s) who fatally shot a man early Saturday morning in Suitland. The victim is 28-year-old Anthony Thomas III of Capitol Heights.
On December 18, 2021, at approximately 1:00 am, patrol officers responded to the 4400 block of Rena Road for the report of a shooting. Officers located the victim inside of an SUV suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was pronounced dead on the scene.
Detectives are working to identify a suspect(s) and determine a motive.
