PGPD Detectives to Canvass for Information in Fatal Shooting in Camp Springs

This evening, Homicide Unit detectives will canvass a Camp Springs neighborhood as they continue to investigate the fatal shooting of Keith Aaron Wade. The 19 year old from Suitland was shot and killed on Friday. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.




On March 18, 2022, at approximately 4:50 pm, patrol officers were called to the 6300 block of Maxwell Drive for a report of a shooting. They discovered Wade in a parking lot suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene.




Detectives are working to identify a suspect(s) and motive in this case. The canvass will begin at 5:00 pm in the 6300 block of Maxwell Drive.
