PGPD Detectives to Conduct Canvass Today Seeking Information in Capitol Heights Homicide

Prince George’s County Police Homicide Unit detectives will canvass a Capitol Heights neighborhood this evening as they continue to investigate a murder that occurred on Wednesday night. The victim is 46-year-old Sean Spence of Capitol Heights. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered in this case.

On November 20th, at approximately 7:30 pm, officers responded to the 5700 block of Rollins Lane for the report of a shooting. When they arrived, they found Spence outside his residence suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to the hospital where he died a short time later.

Today's canvass will begin in the 5700 block of Rollins Lane starting at 5:30 pm.
