I was there and it had more to do with a man (that no one had seen before) not knowing when he'd had enough to drink and groping someone's (a regular from down the street) sister on the dance floor. When the bouncers (mostly firefighters) tried to remove the offender and his friends, they were attacked. It was all very civil until the drunks lost their cool. The bouncer's defended themselves and it escalated from there.

I stopped by there for five minutes because I heard they kicked their crazy redheaded bartender out.... I must have been there just before it happened.

That is why I don't go to those places much anymore. I prefer the biker bars over the firefighter bars now because somehow, there seems to be less B.S.
