I tend to stay out of the religion forum, but have noticed IRL that some (just some, not all, so don't jump on me for generalization..) people who are devoutly religious are completely different people when it's not Sunday. Two-faced, angry, drink and cuss to excess, very out of character from the religious persons they portray.
Well #### me running with a #####! ...I've noticed the same thing.

Yes agree and to add... I recently accidently clicked a relgious thread. Went in from the front page and didn't know which forum I was in. Read a Horrible post about rape connected with marriage, other tortures and a lot of judgement. Was going to comment how disgusting it all was then realized the OP was in complete compliance and rapture with it all. Kook crap I decided to just leave alone. I guess I will say unlike many bible enthusiasts he/she took it all to heart rather than cherry picking the nice parts and ignoring the many atrocities in that story book.
Im not tryning to start a debate, stating facts as I see em or call em opinions if forced marriage after rape is makes sense to you. As the poster Im quoting said, I stay out of the religion forum since Im not a fit for it.

There are people that post often in the religious forum. Maybe a few wander in by accident but the topic is usually a good indicator of where they are.
A few must have missed the sermon about doing unto others.

They think they saying is, "Do unto others before they do unto you."
The version I like is "Do unto others and then run like hell"
I think most will agree on the basic concepts. It's when the discussion attempts to dig further into the theological nuts & bolts that everything "goes to hell."
