Did you get any traditional Southern Maryland gifts this Christmas?

we got a Southern Maryland stuffed ham! The thing was big enough to feed an army. I also got some weird tobacco leaf ornament thing. It was kinda cool but it stunk to the high heaven -- which is where it is now --.

The weather stick is the best. It really does work. I give them out every year. Can only find them in Leonardtown. Never have found them anywhere else.

I agree. My mom gave me a couple of pounds of stuffed ham for my birthday and I got to take home the leftover stuffed ham from Christmas dinner.

No other "weird" Southern Maryland gifts but I did get some interesting ones from my friends who came up from New Orleans.

I got one that tops that...a couple years ago, the guy I was dating at the time...well, I went to Christmas at his parents house. His mother gave me this beautiful sweater which I really liked. However, the tag on the box was addressed to his FORMER girlfriend...Mom was extremely embarrassed. And we had been dating for close to a year. I didn't know whether or not to take that as a hint...
