...that grilled radishes - RADISHES! - are delicious?

Well they are!

It never occurred to me to use radishes as anything but raw in a salad, but my grilled beet experiment was so successful that I decided to branch out with other typecast veggies.

I quartered them and tossed them with olive oil, grilled them in my little pan for about 10 mins, then sprinkled them with salt and a drizzle of balsamic vinegar. YUM!

You need to move to waterfront property for the summer so we can do the meet and greets with style!

My mom used to make us radish sandwiches when I was a kid. Had to use the long skinny white ones and slice the lengthwise. Butter up some Wonder bread and slap on the radishes with a little salt.

On a side note, since they are white, we called them whiteishes and the red ones were redishes.

I still love those. I tried to make my husband eat them once and he :twitch: but survived.

What is really good is take some French bread, Boursin cheese and a layer of radishes with some kosher salt and a sprinkling of green onions...to die for
