Did you loose your dog?

I was coming home around 5:30 - pm tonight on Newtowne Neck Rd. Right by the Avenmar development their was a dog running loose back and forth across the road. He was holding up traffic and was close to getting hit. Against my better judgement, I stopped the truck and called him. He jumped right into the truck and made himself at home in my back seat. God, did he smell, lol. Anyways, I went to a couple of houses, knocked on a few doors to no avail. At the third house, he made himself comfy in the drivers seat as I got out to knock. When I returned to my truck and opened the door, I guess he decided he was done with his joy ride and jumped out and took off into the darkness. I tried calling him and waiting around but never saw him again. If he might be your dog, pm me and give me the description and I'll let you know if that was him. He seemed very sweet. Not sure if he escaped from a kennel or not but he had a coupld cuts on his front paws and had a little bit of blood in his drool. Anyways, thanks for reading.

This is Chopper - I'm thinking that's him as that's about the time he jumped my fence and I went chasing him. I live far from the road and heard some car horns, and was afraid it was him, but by time I reached it he was gone.

This boy is SWEET, please if you see him call him and keep him and call me!!

It sounds like he was probably hit, maybe not hard, but that's the only reason I can think of for the blood in his mouth...
