No doubt in my mind the climate is changing. It always has and it always will.
My doubt comes when the scientists try to blame it on humans.
Another doubt comes when they believe they can stop it.
The industrial age when coal smoke covered the sky, the years when smog hung over our cities, the smog hanging over China and other places we don't control. The United States has the cleanest environment of anywhere, but as clean as we are or as clean as we can become we cannot control the air over the whole planet. The environmental damage done for over 150 years cannot be healed over a few years even if it were the fault of humans.
Electric cars, solar panels and wind generators are just someone's foolish idea of a joke when it come to saving the planet.

Humans certainly have an effect on the climate...but so does everything else. Freaking AOC was attacking cows.

The tell is that these propaganda spewers demand we, the rabble, completely alter our existence to stave off climate change - which is hilariously ignorant - yet they don't do these things themselves. I have respect for the greenie who walks the walk; the hired hack who consumes energy like a big dog while lecturing us, not so much.

What they need to do is make some precise predictions - and have them come true.
Not vague stuff. If you can't do that, it's not science. It's clairvoyance. Voodoo. Gypsy fortune telling.

Maybe that's a high bar - when Einstein wanted to prove general relativity, he used an eclipse to precisely measure the bending of light.
And I mean, precisely. Not - sort of. He proved his theory.

These guys cannot predict anything until after it's "happened" and retroactively amend their science.
That's not science - that's how charlatans work. That's how ancient oracles defended their ridiculous forecasts.
They'd make vague predictions about how an empire would be destroyed after a battle - and defend the prediction afterward by saying we
meant YOUR empire would be destroyed.

You want me to believe you? Tell me how many inches the ocean will rise - and prove it after ten years. PROVE to me what you claim will happen.

Don't expect me to sacrifice my first born based on what you sort of hope might happen.

Every model makes those predictions. Every model has been drastically wrong.

My skepticism with climate change stuff isn't just the science. It's the non-scientist liberals who use the issue to advance issues they HAVE ALWAYS PURSUED. I get to hear a group of people who want to always want to control my energy, tax the oil and gas companies to hell, raise my taxes to pursue a pipe dream of theirs - and I'm supposed to believe THIS time, their reason is legitimate?

To me this is akin to taxing me to oblivion to protect me from meteors - but all they can tell me is that a meteor strike would kill us all and how we need to save the planet from meteors and how science deniers don't want a meteor prevention program -

But they can't show me that it's going to happen or even that one is coming.

Mine is the lack of defense of their work. I'm not versed in their field so I can't ask the pertinent questions, but the people that can ask those questions are completely ignored. When a red team / blue team review was proposed they balked saying that it would just confuse the masses. They stood on their peer reviews as the defense of their arguments, having someone who agrees with you testing your theory is not proof defending it against someone who disagrees with it is.

We know that "climate change" is nothing more than political opportunism because - real or not - the positive aspects of "climate change" are never spoken about/of. For example, the northern Great Plains or Canada would have longer growing seasons thereby increasing grain output. Et cetera.

I don't pay much mind to this scam for the simple reason Gore doesn't practice what he preaches (nor does Obama, re: Martha's Vineyard, etc.). My only interest is in pointing out the compulsory behavioral restrictions mandated by this movement and the wanna-be authoritarians behind it.
