Strung Out
I am offending that the auto ad is encroaching on the space within the post. Someone HAS to fix it. Or I might get an imaginary bow and arrow and shoot, in an imaginary, air guitar fashion, at the screen which, technically, means at ALL of you as you can see what I am offended by and can probably imagine what it looks like if I were to shoot an imaginary arrow from an imaginary bow at the screen and, thus, imagine being struck by it.

Which would make a pretty cool concept for a movie.

I'm now required at my workplace to attach our new "mission statement" to my lanyard.

In over 35 years of professional work - I don't think I've spent more than two minutes looking at or even thinking about -- mission statements.

But -- a whole panel of people were PAID to come up with it.

THAT, to me, is the essence of this strip, which deals more with office idiocy than with whole industries.

Same here Sam... we would get phone calls at random and would have to rattle off our mission statement.

The things people get paid to do. :ohwell:

From one of my favorite bloggers, Cdr Slamander..this is what is in the header of his blog page:

Proactively “From the Sea”; an agent of change leveraging the littoral best practices for a paradigm breaking six-sigma best business case to synergize a consistent design in the global commons, rightsizing the core values supporting our mission statement via the 5-vector model through cultural diversity.
