My first steak from the charcoal side of my new grill! :yahoo:

It's resting now and I'll have it with a cucumber salad.

I am so very blessed
Our dinner tonight: Three pounds of steamed clams. They were fabulous, but pales I. Comparison to last nights' lobster dinner (he had a 3 lb steamed lobster, and I had a lobster pie).

I thought about getting a pressure cooker, but knew using one would freak me out. 'course then I remembered that I hate to cook and realized it would just take up space anyway. I just can't stand to not have some cooking appliance available to not use....
I could not use one at all - it would freak me out, too. :yay:

Just finished using my pressure cooker/canner.

28 jars of beans on the shelf, 28 jars of beans.....
I have you beat. I canned 36 pint and a half and 12 pint jars of Meatballs and sauce. Although, I didn't do it today. I love my pressure canner! It does have to be supervised though.

We had Sunday dinner in the pressure cooker nearly every Sunday growing up. My mom could whip up some good stuff in that thing. Didn't know there were other ways to cook a roast until I was on my own. No fear here. I usually only use mine in the winter, though.

I've been roasting a small chicken on Sundays or while I'm cooking dinner on Mondays and I have chicken for lunches and dinner (quesadillas, etc) throughout the week. I don't have the rotisserie thingy, but this is the next best thing. You could easily put that chicken in a crock pot 1 day and do the same.

I love the grocery store rotisserie chickens, and buy them all the time when I forget to take something out for dinner, but have found there is more meat on the chickens I buy - for about the same price.

withrespect;5178637 Can you do a back hand spring? :eyebrow: I can. I don't understand how someone can't. I am much stronger than you. Get it together. :yay: You need to learn how to do it at this age and forget your fear of landing sideways on your neck. Be rational. :coffee:[/QUOTE said:
Please post a YouTube video as proof. :coffee:

Im Me, how's the pot roast?
It was edible. Maybe a little too done. I put it on at about 8 and we didn't get home to turn it off until about 530. So the crock pot is just a new convenient way for me to screw up on cooking dinner.:ohwell:
