Dinner thread (with a twist)

It was edible. Maybe a little too done. I put it on at about 8 and we didn't get home to turn it off until about 530. So the crock pot is just a new convenient way for me to screw up on cooking dinner.:ohwell:
It doesn't automatically turn off? You need one of those fancy kind that turns off :dance:

I'm cooking pot roast in the crock pot today....leaving a cooking device on at home is driving my OCD off the charts. I don't have many phobias, but leaving resistance heating devices running when I'm at work is one of them. :cds:
Why would anyone make a roast this time of year?

Psh. You are ridiculously beautiful and intelligent, not to mention kind and witty. You shouldn't be expected to cook, too. That's just overkill.
