Dirt track fans

Hagerstown Speedway has it's season opener tomorrow at 1pm. They're running Sprints and Late Models. Hagerstown is a 1/2 mile dirt track located on National Pike off State Highway 40.

Tickets are $17 for general admission and $25 for pits. Gates open at 11... you can get your tickets at the track or online at HAGERSTOWN SPEEDWAY.

I have never understood why they open so early. It's too freaking cold to be standing around at a dirt track, especially up there. :lol:

Because just about every other track closes in September and opens in April.

Those of us raceaholics who are addicted to that racing drug don't care how cold it is. Racing is racing. 5 months (every other oval) is not a long season and 7 months is a lifetime. It's a wise idea to open early, good chance to cash in as fans and drivers from other tracks will come. I have a friend down in Norfolk who's coming up for the race this weekend.
