The Southern Maryland Center for Independent Living and the Charles County Department of Community Services, Office of Aging, invites you to attend a Disabilities Expo Excursion on Thursday, October 13, at the Greater Waldorf Jaycees Community Center in Waldorf (3090 Crain Highway) from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.
This event is sponsored by the Maryland Department of Aging and the Waldorf Jaycees. The Expo will promote a greater understanding of Medicare services and provide information on possible help with Medicare costs. Representatives from area agencies on aging and disabilities will be available to answer questions.
The Expo will give individuals with disabilities and the elderly the opportunity to discuss services available to them from health care professionals, wellness specialists, physical therapists, and more. There will also be special presentations, guest speakers, lunch, and fun!
