Dish Network loses WUSA 9

I noticed yesterday morning that channel 9 is now blacked out on Dish. They keep playing this stupid psa message about how it is not their fault (Dishs') and that this is do to the unwillingness of the local network. I must say that while I do not primarily watch the CBS news programs, I do enjoy a few CBS programs.

Anyway to the point. Shouldn't Dish be required to provide some CBS alternative? I would like to hope that paying for local channels means receiving at least one of each of the major networks.

It is simply a stalled negotiation as to how much DISH is going to pay CBS, etc. Happens all the time between Networks and distributing media such as DISH, Comcast, etc. Both use their own "PSA"s to try to influence the other in negotiations. I have been seeing notices on CBS stations for their viewers to :contact DISH" to encourage DISH not let their access to CBS be interrupted. CBS will be back on DISH as soon as they get back to the negotiating table and reach an agreement on money.

It was blocked until the football game then went off again. Haven't checked it this morning though. They did the same thing with wjla ,the negotiating. I wonder if NBC and Fox are next.
