Gotta a question? The house we are moving into has a relatively new portable dishwasher. My plan is to cut out a space and put the dishwasher in there. Do I have to buy a whole new dishwasher or just remove the cover from the portable one and put it in there?

Besides removing the cover, you are going have to find a way to make permenent water supply and drain connections.

Get a dog!!! They work great!!! Noone can tell the difference!!

It's black. It's the one that came with our house (2000). I'll ask B tonight when I can expect the new one.

Ugh gross. B unloaded the dishwasher the other day and apparently hadn't been paying attention. He put away dirty dishes. I noticed when I went for a spoon and it was nasty. I guess he didn't realize because all the plates had been licked clean. Needless to say since I couldn't tell the difference all the dishes got washed.

I can generall tell when my dog accidentally had licked a plate or smething when I go to wash it.. it feels slippery or slimely or something

None thank God. I had just finish cooking dinner and was getting out plates and forks and spoons. We ate off paper plates and plastic wear!

Yeah just let me know because my fridge is white and my stove is black and white so it would match anything. But I'm going to talk to a plumber tonight so we will see....

My fridge is white too and our stove has a white cooktop but the entire front is black. I'll ask him this weekend.

Depending on the manufacturer, you might be able to purchase a conversion kit. Find the manufacturers web-site and do a search.

If you decide to replace it with a really noew one and go shopping, I can tell you that Maytag was the best choice I've made yet for dishwashers. Best value for sure.
