In the early 1960's, a couple of madcap writers wrote a pilot for a new comedy, "The Beverly Hillbillies" . It was initially a flop, because it was so unbelievable. BUT later became a hit and then, a 5 year run, now in syndication!!!!
So fast forward to 2024... (history repeats itself you know).... Disney is working on....... (wait for it)......"The Tren de Immigratians!!!"
OLA!!!!!... Madcap adventures of a poor Venezuelan Marijuana Farmer, Mauricio, his mother in law, and Grandmother, Daniela, his daughter, la Princess and Pepito, a gay nephew in an all boy band pass thru the Border, get thousands of American dollars and settle in Waco, Texas.
Laugh at the antics of Daniela, (a nurse during the Spanish-America War), spitting at the Alamo, while la Princess has her 14th baby!!! Pepito introduces his husband, Juan Jondre to Joanna Gaines in the premiere episode who hires him as a gardener!!!
