I'm training to regain distance. Ran 2 marathons (2000 and 2001 honolulu), but fell off the running wagon after coming back CONUS and did not run for a long time. I started again just before Christmas, running 1-2X per week. Yesterday was 4.5 miles on what I hope to build back up to about 6 miles 2x per week with an additional day being hill or speed work. My time per mile for both marathons was a little under 9.09/mile. I'm now a tad over 11 per mile and I HATE that. If I can get to 10/mile for 6 miles, I'll be happy...and much more healthy.
