If you work for a company with 50 people or less they are not required to pay you when you are on jurry duty.

So it I sat on a jurry for a week I would have gotten paid 20 bucks a day in stead of my regular salery. Jurry duty is normally for about 3 weeks. It could potentially be a very big hit to the wallet.

So yea to the anonamous tard I am proud of myself and I would do the same thing agin. Making 20 bucks a day just doesn't feed my family.

Enclosed is a summons for jury duty. Prospective jurors for this US District Court at Greenbelt are randomly chosen from PG, Montgomery, Charles, Calvert & St. Mary's....failure to report as directed can result in a fine of $100 or imprisonment for three days.

I am almost tempted to pay the $100.

So Miggy has been summoned for jury duty! Not just any jury, but the darn district court in Greenbelt. How's the parking? Any advice or input? "They" say they will pay for my "lodging" since I live more than 50 miles away, but I don't think Greenbelt is an area I want to stay. Experiences? Is it too late to escape? Any doctor willing to write me a note?

I got a summons for that a couple of years back... I got exempt for being self-employeed AND for having a child under 6 at home. You could quit your job and I'll rent you a kid.
