If you do I was wondering if you could give me a little bit of info about it like what they clean in your home, how often they come to your home and what they charge per visit? I would really appreciate any information you all could give me.

Thanks!

First, I would call whatever service company you plan on using, ask them what they charge and You tell them what you would like to have done, (vacuum, floors, bathrooms, etc). I'm sure they do what you sign up to have them do.
I believe it is your call on what you actually want done and how many times a week you want them to come. I'm sure they do windows, dust furniture, scrub floors, etc.
But make sure you go with a company that their people are bonded, especially now days.

I was a housekeeper back in Ohio. The prices could be different around here, but typically we would clean a house bi-weekly and the charge would be around $100. We provided all cleaning supplies, unless the customer wanted a specific type of product used, then they would supply it. I would usually work with 1, maybe two other people, and depending on the size of the home, be done within an hour or two. The first two times we would clean a home we would do a deep clean, basically anything that was accessible would be cleaned. Those deep cleanings would take a few hours and were more expensive $200-$300 a visit. The typical cleaning after the deep cleans would be bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, living areas etc. Dusting, vacuuming, mopping, general cleaning of the bathrooms. We wouldn't go all out and take off light fixtures or anything like that-we would normally do that (if it was possible) at the first deep clean. Another thing we would not do is clean windows-if there was a smudge that was visible, sure we would clean it, but I wouldn't expect windows to be cleaned every time, unless you specify you want them cleaned.

I use a maid service but it is expensive. I first had to buy a diamond ring, invitations, flowers, rent a venue, pay a minister, put up with her family and feed a lot of people I didn't like but all in all it is worth it. She is my best buddy!

Let me tell you. I know of a maid service that is based in Waldorf and covers other areas too. The company has about 4 small cars that it sends out each day, and each car has a team of maids. This company basically hires anyone that is willing to work for them, and the maids routinely steal potato chips and other food from the homes they clean, as well as Rx. It is also not uncommon for them to use drugs in the car on the way to work. I am not going to say the name of the company for liability reasons, but I suspect this may be typical of maid service companies.

What is wrong with a little chip snack? Now if they started drinking my Grey Goose then we would have a problem.

I would NEVER bring a cleaning company into my home. I can clean my own damm chit, TYVM. I used to know a girl who worked for a cleaning service...she used to tell me stories of the items she lifted from the homes she cleaned...ever since that, I've been determined to NEVER allow someone like that into my house.
