I've been told Taylor Gas services propane systems, I've been meaning to call them for my broken fireplace.24 hours...three tech chats with operators trying to sell me upgrades or warranties...and "delays" in repair guy arrival....
OK...Somebody tell me I can cancel this whole run-around and speak to a Propane stove repair person...PLEASE.
Taylor...I filled out 90+% of their form on line...and then checked their service agreement. It sounded like they want exclusive rights to my delivery, maintenance etc. Pulled the plug right there. That is NOT needed. I fill my own tanks.......all I want is a Tech who can tell me my stove is the issue or my line is the issue. Just call them. I had them install a stove and a gas bottle, just parts and labor, no contract, no follow ups. Very accommodating and easy to work with.Taylor...I filled out 90+% of their form on line...and then checked their service agreement. Not from the A&E motel?Sears appliance service has been for quite sometime A&E Factory Repair.
AHS home warranty uses them. They fixed my Maytag washer in December, which was purchased in September 1983.
They fixed the GE dishwasher, 10 years old, in May.
I think they come out of Annapolis.

It is odd.....I have a 3/4 full 20 Gal propane tank...line is fully charges...pilot light on fire place is just fine. For your consideration ...
What is the problem you are having?
Yup. Most likely the regulator gone bad. Change it out and see if that takes care of it. With the stove off, the line pressure has a chance to build up, but when you turn it on the pressure drops because the regulator isn't keeping up with the line pressure drop.It is odd.....I have a 3/4 full 20 Gal propane tank...line is fully charges...pilot light on fire place is just fine.
BUT...my stove will light for 2-3 seconds & go completely out. ALL four burners. Oven won't light at all.
The line leading to the kitchen is not crimped. (from what I can see in the basement.)
Stove was working fine one day...puffing out the next. Regulator?
Maybe, but 20 lb bottles also have a safety in the bottle that sometimes trips when it shouldn't. Turn the bottle off. Turn the stove on and wait a minute. Turn the stove off. Turn on the propane bottle. Relight your fireplace pilot. It is odd.....I have a 3/4 full 20 Gal propane tank...line is fully charges...pilot light on fire place is just fine.
