Do you think the Captain got fired?

Maybe!

Serious note - The tides in AK are EXTREME, when the tide goes out, it REALLY goes out... in 12 hours the water will be back and they will get a tug in there to yank it out. It looks worse than it really is, at least it's still upright. :lmao:

In My Opinion
I have long believed that someone needed to come up with a cruise for people afraid of water.
Kudos to the Cruise company:yahoo:

That used to be one of my favorite things to do: anchor my boat and watch the tide go out. All the folks who were not familiar with that area (Port Jefferson Harbor, NY) would wind up with 50 foot sailboats sideways sitting on their keels.

From the cruise company web site:

Let Us Bring You Closer, Let Us Show You More
Only a small ship can give you the best of Alaska. Our ships take you where the large ships can’t go. See whales and wildlife undisturbed in their natural habitat. Leave the crowds behind and join us for a rewarding and memorable journey where you’ll feel the true spirit of the last frontier.

yeah, looks like the tide went out and left them with no water under the hull.
