I will be looking for a General Practice doctor, is there anybody you would recommend or not recommend? I have only ever used the base for medical care, but they are so short of doctors I am having to find a civilian one. The only experience I've had has been with Breton Medical and I don't want to go there.

I started going to Dr. Stephen Cafferty around the March time frame. He is the only doctor that I deal with now. After circling around the Shah Associates, it has been refreshing to deal with someone that speaks english and actually listens to me. He is located on Chancellors Run Road. I also like the fact that one time I had a appt. for a nurse visit, he went out of his way to talk to me to make sure everything was going smoothly for me.

So far I've had to go for 2 MRI's because he didn't order all the MRI's he needed, I have to go in for a nerve conduction study which should've been ordered the first time but it seems he didn't listen when I told him the pain shot UP my back and down my right arm, not down the legs... and the icing on the cake... for my MRI tomorrow that the MRI Technician suggested I be on valium for (since the last time we tried this MRI I was too jumpy in the machine) and, instead of the valium or even a xanax again... he apparently didn't take the time to consult my file and called in a prescription for one of the two (There's only 2!!! How the hell did he mess THAT up?!??!) drugs that I have a severe intolerance (read: spectacular digestive pyrotechnics) to... requiring me to call in the morning just to get the right prescription, take more time off of work while I get the right prescription filled so I can go and get the MRI for my neck which should've been done initally.

I go to Dr. Gupta, she is in the bean building in Hollywood. She is very very very nice! =)

Dr. Tidball in the Wildewood Shopping Centre. Very good. great office, great Doctor. He is retired Military too.
