Aww man, don't let the picture fool ya. He was changing the tp roll at last years Halloween party. I think that ad stinks, not because it's geared toward blacks, but because it's :bs:... Think of all the people who have worked for McD's, in all the world since day one. Just what percentage of those people went on to become the people represented in that ad?

McDonald's hasn't been good since the first introduction of the McRib.

That in itself speaks volumes.

I have seen several billboards with Welcome to McDonald's 365Black - i'm lovin' it! and I was curios as to what it meant - stupid me thought it was about the new coffee they were promoting.... Welcome to McDonald's 365Black - i'm lovin' it!

I find it racial and I know MCDeath has always promoted the African American culture and pushed for them to apply for jobs with them, but this is taking it to a new level.

Wow. I haven't seen any of the ads or billboards. This is the first I've heard of the marketing campaign.

"WHAT IS 365BLACK?
At McDonald's®, we believe that African-American culture and achievement should be celebrated 365 days a year — not just during Black History Month. That's the idea behind 365Black.com. It's a place where you can learn more about education, employment, career advancement and entrepreneurship opportunities, and meet real people whose lives have been touched by McDonald's. "

Sounds like they're sucking up for some reason. WTH?!

Here is an interesting statistic: There are fewer blacks than any other minority in the US - yet, they seem to get the most attention.

Figure that one out...:eyebrow:

Wow, can you imagine the lawsuits if it were 365White?! OR if there was a WET instead of BET (Black Entertainment Television). I'm by no means a racist; Dad's mexican-french canadian, Mom's irish-german and my BF's black-italian. I just don't understand the continued segregation. Is it just me??

Just in case u didn't know, it is 365White. The only black people in History books are MLK and Rosa Parks... there are a lot of other blacks who helped shape America.... Oh and as fare as White Entertainment TV.... take a look at all the programming on Television. Most programs have mostly white cast..

Oh, you mean like Booker T. Washington, Crispus Attucks, B.K. Bruce, Harriet Tubman, Madame C.J. Walker, Charles Drew and George Washington Carver? The black people I learned about in history class in jr. high and high school before freakin' Black History Month was even invented??

But do they go out of their way to call it white entertainment? No, it's just that the majority of the audience is white so the programming is geared toward them. So is the advertising.
