Dog Adoptions

We are in the process of seriosly looking to adopt a puppy or young dog.  We already hit Tri-County, but didn't see a compatible dog.  Does anyone know about the Free Clinic?  Phone number, or next adoption event?  I found a listing for SOMD Pet Adoption (the phone number was wrong), is this the same as the Free Clinic?  There is supposedly an animal shelter in Leonardtown, but I can't seem to find it in the phone book... anyone know?

I think you are talking about the pet adoptions they have at the Well Pet Clinic. They're every Saturday, and the clinic is in Millison Plaza in Lexington Park. You can get more info by calling the clinic - the number is 301-863-0303.

They usually do have puppies, and all their dogs are fostered in homes and evaluated.
