Dog Area at Lancaster Park?

I regularly take my dog to Lancaster Park on Willows Road but right before Thanksgiving, I hadn't been in a few days. I took her recently and noticed a big fence had been up in an open area. It looks like what I've seen at dog parks but no signs have been posted or anything. Anybody heard anything about a dog park? Anyone else aware of this? :howdy:

I usually take my boxer there too, right back in the baseball field areas.

Yes, it is a dog park. The fencing is up. I think there needs to be an adjustment on the back side. I overheard conversation today at the office that there is a gap that is too high and little dogs can get under it. That needs to be corrected. The water fountains for the dogs still need to be installed. The signs will be installed once everything is complete. The gates are locked right now until everything is finished. Once complete the gates will remain unlocked.
