My daughter and I have a small craft business. We carve and paint wood, mostly dogs, cats, birds, and wildlife. We do outdoor shows in our area where people bring their pets along. We have been asked to do carvings of people's specific dogs. We began carving the breeds and then painting the coloring and markings from a picture. We have done quite a few different ones for people not only current pets but past and even childhood family pets. The results have been very rewarding, and so we have added a page to our website marked dogs. People can send or e-mail us a photo and we send back the carving ready to hang on the wall.
