Dog Food on line

Just thought I'd share an experience I had this week with Chewy.com, I have all my dog food delivered, and someone on the Forum suggested Chewy because of their prices, so I did try them, and wow I was very surprised and pleased. They are cheaper on most items. Free shipping. Delivered within 2 days right to my door. Now here's the good part, I had a problem with one item, called them, they were very pleasant, refunded my money ( which was back in my account within a day) and told me I did not have to return the item. I'm impressed with them and thought I'd share my experience for any of you out there who order food or are thinking of ordering food on line.

I love Chewy.com. I only feed my cats Evo and have my food set for auto-delivery, I'm not charged shipping, I can change the ship date and then receive it within 48 hours (it usually arrives next day) and all the flea and tick stuff a person needs is dirt cheap!! They even carry Capstar. I love that place!!

My vet told me that you have to be careful of these online pet supply places because a lot of their products are expired or not the real deal. I get Apollo's food, flea treatment, and heartworm chewies locally. It's worth the extra few cents to me.

Pepper's is great! But I live in L-town and rarely go to Solomons. The food I buy is cheaper online, I don't pay shipping costs, it is delivered to my front door, and I don't have to spend 45 minutes in traffic. Online is just more economically sound for me. Plus I can get a box of 6 Capstar for 22.00. That with the gas I save and time saved from driving, I have saved over 45.00 buying online.

 45 minutes from Leonardtown to Solomons? It's only about 12 miles from the town center to Solomons. When are you trying to go that there's 45 mins of traffic?

Maybe she's one of those bicycle people that wears the "sponsored" uniforms that holds up traffic and breaks all the traffic laws.

21 minutes to get there. 21 minutes to get back...42 minutes total. Unless you hit the lights in between...then it's 45 minutes. It's 30 miles round trip from where I live. I don't live near the towncenter.

Stop telling them our secrets! Or else I won't ride with you anymore!!

I buy my flea/tick products either from Dr. Foster and Smith (on-line) or from the well pet clinic. Also Foster and Smith has some good bones that are free from added ingredients that my dogs love.

I have shopped there too. I have a list of stores I frequent and watch for who has what on sale.
Here's a couple - Pet Guys has a full range of products including reptile needs. I buy my Exo Terra Solar Glo Sun Simulating Lamp 160W from Pet Guys, much cheaper than any where else.

And Herp Supplies has the heavy duty Kane heating mats and the thermostats and rheostats needed to go with them.
Kane heating mats are great for dogs too, but they are NOT cheap...Kane mats are an investment but well worth the money.

Have you ever heard of Roozen's Nursery in PG County? They have a really nice selection of heating lamps and other accessories. Prices are very good.

No I haven't. Are they UVA & UVB lamps? The lamps I buy provide a full spectrum of light, like the sun does. I don't see any on their website but I have seen a lot of other cool products that I would buy and at good prices!! Thank you!!
