Dog Food Question...

Good Friday morning all!

So...I have moved the puppy off of Iams Puppy to Iams Adult Active and at the same time switched Jack (8 yrs) to the same. It's been 2 days and both nights she has gotten me up to refill her water and then drank the whole bowl. Is this normal when switching from canned to dry food? I am mixing a little water when I feed them to make a gravy. TIA!
