My parents just switched their dog food to wellness Brand because the dog can't have eggs. So has anyone ever used this food before?

One of my dogs has possible food allergies- he chews his feet and causes terrible sores. I have had him for 3 years and switched his food many times. About 8 months ago I started feeding him the Wellness Limited Ingredient Turkey and Potato dry food and he hasn't chewed his feet at all. He is a good weight, his coat is very shiny and he is very active for a 12 year old shelter dog.

They feed him the complete health kind. He had a skin issue as well as a gas issue lol and it was linked to him being Allergic To eggs. Do you know of any other brands of dog food that has Limited ingredients? The price for the wellness fluctuates at Petco a lot.

My dog is itchy too, but not feet. Mostly back and it's mostly when he's stressed, like when I leave him home and come back to see his back fur is disturbed, like he's been chewing. Sometimes enough to make small scabs. I switched him to Beaverdam Hi Protein dry dog food, (with a little tiny bit of Purina One turkey/barley wet for a treat mixed in). You can only get Beaverdam foods at the Henyard in Loveville in St. Mary's. It's only a couple bucks more, but has no wheat, which is a huge allergen. He seems to do really well on it.

I got a nice sample of that Beaverdam food at Pet Fest this spring. You can get the Beaverdam online, too. The vendor said the Merrick brand I was feeding my pooches was very good, but to give his a try; that it might help with the constipation my one dog suffers from. One dog liked it one dog didnt (the one with constipation, of course), so we're sticking with Merrick.

A horse of course!
I'm using the 4 Health from Tractor Supply for my Frenchie - on Iams her coat was coarse and wirey. On the 4 Health it's smooth soft and slick, and her poos are nice and small too. I'm happy with it.

I use Iams on the Rotts and they do well on it. :)

I also use Merrick, grain free, and my dogs just love it , they look great, and their coats are shiny, I add a little meat to one of my dog's food because his stool was too firm, but I can't say enough about Merrick and it's MADE IN THE USA !
