new to the board. love animals! they love me, too!
Question: are there any GOOD dog groomers out there? I am in calvert/st mary's county and just tried the newest *groom shop/doggie daycare and what a disaster! they will not last and what a mess for a new shop. customer service and normal business hours would help, also. after $50 wasted, would pay anything to have my dog groomed properly!
ideas?

I have Gentle Touch Dog Grooming in Hollywood, 301 373 3766, been grooming plus years. There are several good groomers in the area, it just depends on what kind of dog you have and what you want done.

Yeah Spinners old and been gooming alot longer then I.. :lmao: What do you have and what do you want done with him/her? Spinner sends me all her chows and cats and I send her all my scissor jobs...we take care of each other... :huggy:

I have never heard of you; thanks! I don't doubt there are good groomers in the area- my post was meant to find one!! And to caution people about the newbie.
My doggie is part poodle and Cocker (I think) and he has somewhat thick, curly and wavey hair.
I like the name of your business- Gentle Touch. That is what my old doggie needs!

I have a chihuahua, how much would it cost to get him groomed, a nice summer cut or shave, just to make him look nice, hes a long hair chihuahua, but looks great with short hair look.

I would charge $35 not sure what Spinner charges...getting to be that time of year everyone is getting hot..
